The obverse face of the 1/10 oz Aztec Calendar Silver Round features a very detailed depiction of the infamous Aztec Calendar Stone. The stone is made up of three intricate rings that depict precise characteristics such as the face of Tonatuih, the Aztec sun god, and how the Aztecs calculated days, weeks, and months. Cuauhtemoc, the final Aztec emperor, is depicted on the reverse. He is now regarded as one of Mexico's most important icons, as well as a representative of the indigenous peoples of the region. All Silver Aztec calendar items include his distinctive picture. "TENTH TROY OUNCE" is inscribed above, while "999 FINE SILVER" is inscribed below.
