The Lunar Series III from the Australian Perth Mint is so appealing due to its diverse collection of platinum, silver, and gold coins in a variety of sizes and finishes which may be very exciting for coin enthusiasts and bullion investors. The 2024 Dragon design features this mystic creature with a twisted body, long tail, and sharp paws surrounded by waves and fog. On the right, in front of the Dragon’s muzzle, there is a corresponding Chinese symbol and the inscription “DRAGON 2024.” On the left, “P125” stands for the Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary. The reverse showcases Queen Elizabeth II wearing the State Diadem crown in a right-profile bust, depicted by artist Jody Clark in 1995. Inscriptions encircle the Queen’s effigy and read: “ELIZABETH II,” “1952-2022,” and “AUSTRALIA” on top and “1/2 oz 9999 Au” and “50 DOLLARS” on the bottom rim.
