Buying campaigns

Buying campaigns let DYLI Pro members buy PSA-graded cards by funding offers through PSA. Choose the cards you want, set your budget, and fund the campaign. DYLI handles setup and places offers on your behalf based on your card criteria and target bid.

How buying works

DYLI places offers through PSA on cards that match your campaign. Those offers can reach owners in two ways:

  • Cards already in PSA Vault: owners of matching cards can accept DYLI's offer to sell their card.
  • Cards finishing PSA grading: DYLI's offer can appear when a matching card's grade is ready, giving its owner the option to sell it at that point.

When an owner accepts an offer, DYLI buys the card for your campaign using your funded balance. Purchases depend on matching cards and owners accepting offers, so funding a campaign does not guarantee a purchase or a specific number of cards.

Purchased cards ship from PSA to DYLI. After arrival and warehouse processing, they are automatically added to your DYLI Collection. You do not need to arrange shipping or add the cards yourself.

Getting started

  1. Sign in with an active DYLI Pro membership and create a campaign.
  2. Follow the three steps: choose your cards, set your buying rules, and choose your budget. Open More preferences to adjust optional filters.
  3. Pay from your DYLI balance using your account's AGW or Privy wallet. You can add to your account balance from the funding screen.
  4. Once payment is confirmed, your campaign shows Pending while the DYLI team reviews it and sets up your offers with PSA. It becomes Active when setup is complete, and purchases follow as owners accept matching offers.

Before funding, allow for PSA's three-day closing window. Pausing or canceling is not immediate: existing offers can stay open for up to 3 days after PSA stops new offers. Purchases accepted during that time, including the $3 fee per card, still come out of your campaign balance.

Choose what to buy

Start with a category, such as Pokémon or basketball, or select curated lists, such as English-language One Piece or Panini Kaboom! Football.

You can set:

  • PSA grades, card years, and a price range per card.
  • Your bid as a percentage of Card Ladder value.
  • How recent the sales behind Card Ladder's price estimates should be. The default accepts confidence scores of 3/5 or higher (sales within about 3 months); a higher minimum requires more recent sales and narrows the cards that qualify. How Card Ladder scores confidence.
  • A daily budget and the maximum copies of the same card to buy each day.
  • Publishers to include or exclude, plus players or characters within your chosen category.
  • Cards to avoid by entering a PSA cert number. This excludes matching cards across cert numbers and grades.

For example: Pokémon, PSA 10, Gengar only, $50–$200 per card, with a sourcing offer target of 85% of Card Ladder value. Final card prices include sourcing costs, so the offer target is not the final price you pay. Your card price range applies to the final card price, before PSA's $3 fee. Purchases depend on matching inventory and accepted offers.

Funding and fees

The amount you fund moves from your account balance to DYLI and is assigned to your campaign. The campaign can spend only that funded balance. You can add more with an active DYLI Pro membership.

  • One-time: buy until the funded balance runs out.
  • Monthly: apply a monthly spending limit to the same funded balance. Unspent funds carry forward; a new month does not charge your wallet again.

Both options have a daily spending limit. Daily and monthly limits reset on UTC calendar boundaries.

Final card prices include DYLI's sourcing costs. Each successful purchase uses that final card price plus PSA's $3 per card fee, deducted from the campaign balance and included in every spending limit. Unsuccessful offers have no fee; unspent funds incur no sourcing charge. A final card price of $85 uses $88 of your campaign balance.

New campaigns require a deposit covering four daily budgets, including fees. If you choose a monthly cap, it must also cover four daily budgets. A $1,000 daily limit requires at least $4,000 upfront. The daily limit is a cap on spending from that deposit, not another charge.

For a $300 maximum final card price, the daily limit must cover at least $303, and the minimum deposit is $1,212. With a $5,000 deposit, choose a daily limit from $303 to $1,250. The form calculates this range and offers buttons to adjust your budget.

Allow at least four days

Plan for one day buying plus up to three days for outstanding offers to close, starting when PSA buying is activated. This is the minimum campaign window; a longer buying period extends it. Setup and delivery take additional time. Card counts and purchase dates are not guaranteed.

The deposit includes a buffer of three daily budgets for open offers. As the balance reaches that buffer, DYLI needs to stop new PSA offers unless you add funds. Existing offers may still turn into purchases during closing. A buffer is not a promise that every offer will fill or that all funds will be spent.

Follow your purchases

Your campaign page shows its status, total funding, spending, remaining balance, and the cards bought for you. DYLI updates each card from Purchased through In transit, Received, and Vaulted.

Cards ship from PSA to DYLI. Allow approximately 4–6 weeks from purchase for warehouse arrival. After arrival and warehouse processing, your cards are automatically added to your DYLI Collection. No action is needed from you. Once a card is Vaulted, you can open it directly from your campaign page.

You'll receive emails for funding, pause requests, status changes, purchases, and delivery updates, with a link back to your campaign.

Pausing or canceling

Request a pause from the campaign page. To cancel a campaign, contact DYLI support.

DYLI asks PSA to stop new offers. Offers already placed can remain open for up to 3 days after new offers stop, so cards may still be purchased during that window. Those purchases and the $3 fee per card are deducted from your campaign balance. Submitting a request does not immediately stop all purchases.

You can request a pause at any time. Your campaign shows Pause requested until DYLI stops new offers in PSA, then Winding down with the closing date. For new campaigns, that date is the later of four days from activation or three days after offers stopped. DYLI reconciles outstanding offers before confirming Paused or Cancelled, and emails you as the status changes. Existing campaigns retain their original pricing and minimum-duration terms.

Campaigns are currently managed through the DYLI website, with PSA setup and purchase updates handled by the DYLI team. To discuss sourcing or timing, contact DYLI support.
